Our style of Raynor massage incorporates elements of Shiatsu, Thai massage, Ayurvedic massage and Deep Tissue and Sports massage as well as conventional Swedish massage. The courses were designed by internationally trained Naturopath and Australia based massage therapist Brandon Raynor, a well known innovator in the field of massage therapy.

Our massage courses are a short and easy way to bypass the long route of becoming a registered massage therapist. However the quality of the course and the technique of massage that we teach is actually much higher than the RMT courses. Our accelerated classes are more effective because we take a hands on approach and have you massaging and receiving a massage from Day 1. Each class will begin with a demonstration given by a Raynor massage instructor followed by students practicing the techniques on each other while the instructor provides one-on-one feedback.  In this way, instructors will be able to address areas of improvement so that students leave the course confident as Raynor Massage practitioners. Many people not only find that receiving massages in class are a great way to reinforce class lessons but Raynor Massage is very healing for those receiving it.

Question: Do I need to be a RMT ( Registered Massage Therapist) to practice massage in British Columbia? No. You can practice massage after doing one of our courses as long as you don’t use the term massage therapist to describe what you do or some other proscribed terms like Registered Massage Therapist. You can get insured and set up a business or work for someone else after completing our course. Its much more economical than spending three years at a big massage college!
