5-Day Raynor Massage Diploma Course Level 3 (Advanced Certificate Course in Australia)
Our Raynor Massage Diploma course is designed to build on your massage skills. You will be taught more advanced techniques, which combine with our 5-day Raynor Massage Certificate Course. This course is designed to give you the confidence you need to bring your clients to a new level of health.
What You Will Learn
The Diploma course is designed for students who want to develop their massage skills further as well as new massage therapists entering the profession. Many of our students do the two courses together as a 10 day combined Certificate and Diploma course. If this doesn’t suit you, it’s also possible to study the second Diploma week at a different time or in a different location from your Certificate. It is designed to be flexible to fit around your existing commitments and budget. Even if you have extensive massage experience in a different modality, first you need to take the Raynor Online Course Level 1 and the Raynor Massage Certificate Level 2 and before you can study for our Level 3 Diploma course.
In Australia, the equivalent to the Diploma Course is the called the Advanced Certificate Course level 3. The content is the same.
The course is only available through the Raynor College of Massage & Natural Therapies because all our teachers are Advanced Practitioners in Raynor Naturopathic Massage. Brandon Raynor has spent over twenty five years travelling around the world studying massage and continues to do so today. These teachers have have been trained by and have worked with Brandon, and he has personally approved them to teach. Our teachers are also practitioners, and they work with Brandon on a regular basis for their own development. The Diploma course specifically draws on several more additional disciplines from the worldwide understanding of massage. There is a focus on foot and hand massage reflexology, aromatherapy and joint mobilization.
On completion of the level 3 Diploma course, and ideally having gained experience with using the massage professionally, students are then eligible to join our highest level course, the Level 4 Advanced Practitioners Course. You can only take the Level 4 Advanced Practitioner’s course if you already have a Level 3 Raynor Massage Diploma, regardless of your other qualifications and experience in other massage modalities.

- Joint mobilization techniques for the toes, fingers, ankles, wrists, hips, back and sacrum
- Special moves that enable a person to give more pressure for clients that like deeper massage
- Using the feet to walk on the hands and feet of the client and for smaller people, the technique of walking on the back of the client
- Reflexology of the hands and feet
- Ayurvedic massage oils and Ayurvedic constitutional diagnosis.
- Introduction to the use of Chinese liniments in massage

- Aromatherapy
- Stronger emphasis on developing rhythm and flow with massage.
- Feedback to enable you to become a better practitioner

Accelerated Expertise
Our Raynor Naturopathic Massage Diploma course is designed for people who would like to start a new career in the massage industry. It is also a good choice for existing health professionals who would like to expand their skill range to include the wide variety of techniques and philosophy that make up Raynor massage. The expert teaching provided and the benefits of studying in a group of no more than 20 students to one teacher means that we expect that everyone who completes the course can give an effective therapeutic massage. Raynor Massage is such a unique massage style, if you are focused then you can become incredibly effective with just two weeks of training. We will also teach you to integrate both reflexology and aromatherapy into your massage practice.
The aim of the massage remains the same for the Diploma as for the Certificate. Essentially, you will learn to find tension in the body and eliminate it. On the Diploma course, your ability to release tension is taken to a deeper level. It is often possible to access tension that has been stored for many years, even since childhood. The Diploma trains the massage therapist to work in a more extensive manner in order to track and release the bands of tension that run through the body.
Practical Education & Assessments
We teach massage in a uniquely hands-on manner. The tutor input and hands-on massage learning method applies for the Diploma course as it does for the Certificate. This is because you will learn so much from both giving and receiving the massage. You will work with different people across the week so that you can gain experience working with different body types while learning how different people hold their tension. You will gain more experience in learning to adapt the depth of the massage so that it is appropriate for the individual client.
On the final day of the course we open the doors for our ‘student clinic’ where we invite members of the public to receive a free massage. This is an integral part of the assessment of the Diploma where you will carry out everything learnt on the course, from taking a case history, selecting oils, giving a full body treatment and discussing aftercare advice with your client.
Course days are very intensive and usually run from 9-5pm, Monday to Friday with a 1 hour break for lunch each day.

Course Requirements
For the combined Level 2 Certificate and Level 3 Diploma courses, the main requirement is that students have completed the Level 1 Online Introduction to Raynor Massage Course. We accept students over the age of 18 who have a desire to learn and to heal through massage. You should also have a reasonable understanding of English. If a parent or guardian attends with you, we are also happy to accept students aged over the age of 16. For more information please contact us.
If you wish to take the Diploma course by itself, you must have first studied the Certificate Course in Raynor Massage within the last 5 years. This is because the pace and teaching of the Diploma course assumes prior knowledge. You are also always welcome to take either course again for a refresher at half price, if we have space.

Massage Diploma FAQ
No. You will be responsible for your own accommodation, food and travel, we can however offer suggestions for accommodation near to our massage schools.
You will need to bring comfortable clothing, flat shoes and four large and two small towels. We provide the massage tables for use during the course.
Yes, you don’t necessarily need to agree with a particular philosophical point of view to be able to learn Raynor Massage and give an incredibly effective massage. Do try to come to the course with an open mind – many people do go home with a different understanding of the human body and the body-mind interaction and recognise that there is much to learn from these ancient traditions even if their personal belief system does not integrate it.
No. We will provide a full course handbook and training DVD and give you suggestions for further reading should you wish to add to the knowledge gained on the course.
